Terms of Service
Last updated: June 13, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of MCPsnap (the "Service"), operated by [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] ("MCPsnap", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
MCPsnap lets you create and host Model Context Protocol ("MCP") servers. You provide a website address or an API definition; we generate and host an MCP endpoint that AI agents and assistants can connect to. The Service includes related features such as discovery files, share tools, a test playground, and usage analytics. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.
2. Accounts and eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract.
- Sign-in is by email magic link. You are responsible for maintaining control of your email account and for all activity under your MCPsnap account.
- You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you represent that you are authorized to bind that company to these Terms.
3. Your content and authority
When you connect a website or API to MCPsnap, you represent and warrant that:
- you own or are authorized to use that website, API, and its content for this purpose;
- making the content or API available to AI agents through an MCP endpoint does not violate any law, third-party right, or agreement (including the website's or API's own terms);
- any API credentials you provide are yours to use, and you accept that calls made through your MCP server count against your API provider's quotas and bills as if you made them yourself.
You retain all rights to your content. You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to crawl, store, process, cache, and transmit your content solely to operate and improve the Service.
4. Public endpoints
MCP server URLs you create are publicly reachable by design — that is the product. Anyone (human or AI agent) with the URL can call your server's tools and read what they return. Do not connect content or APIs whose output must remain private. Where you enable write-capable API tools, you do so at your own risk and are responsible for the consequences of agent-initiated writes to your systems.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- host, serve, or distribute unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or malicious content;
- connect websites or APIs you do not own or lack authorization to use;
- distribute malware, conduct phishing, or facilitate fraud or spam;
- probe, scan, overload, or disrupt the Service or third-party systems (including via the crawler or API proxy);
- attempt to access other tenants' data or circumvent plan limits, rate limits, or security controls;
- resell the Service without our written consent.
We may suspend or remove any server or account that we reasonably believe violates this section, with or without notice. Where practical, we will notify you and give you an opportunity to remedy.
6. Plans, billing, and taxes
- Paid subscriptions are processed by our payment partner acting as Merchant of Record (currently Lemon Squeezy; we may also use Paddle). Your purchase is also subject to the payment partner's terms. The Merchant of Record handles payment processing, invoicing, and applicable taxes (VAT/GST/sales tax).
- Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel anytime via the customer portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Plan limits (server count, pages crawled, refresh frequency, analytics depth, API servers) are enforced by the Service and may be adjusted with notice.
- On downgrade or non-payment, servers exceeding your plan's limits may be deactivated (not deleted) until you upgrade again.
- Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
7. Service availability
The Service is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and scheduled re-crawls, registry submissions, and third-party integrations are provided on a best-effort basis. We may impose or adjust rate limits to protect the platform.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by us or our licensors. These Terms grant you no rights in the Service except the limited right to use it. Feedback you provide may be used by us without restriction or compensation.
9. Copyright complaints (takedown)
If you believe content served through an MCPsnap-hosted endpoint infringes your copyright, email legal@mcpsnap.com with: (a) the MCP server URL, (b) identification of the work claimed to be infringed, (c) your contact details, and (d) a good-faith statement that the use is unauthorized. We will review and may remove or disable the relevant server. We may terminate repeat infringers' accounts.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT CRAWLED CONTENT IS ACCURATE OR CURRENT, THAT AI AGENTS WILL DISCOVER OR USE YOUR SERVER, OR THAT THIRD-PARTY SERVICES (INCLUDING AI PLATFORMS, REGISTRIES, AND PAYMENT PROVIDERS) WILL REMAIN AVAILABLE OR COMPATIBLE.
Output produced by third-party AI agents using your MCP server is outside our control, and we are not responsible for how agents interpret, summarize, or act on your content.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: (a) WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL; AND (b) OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (i) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE AND (ii) USD $50. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO PARTS OF THIS SECTION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
12. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify us against claims arising from: (a) content, websites, or APIs you connect to the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms or applicable law; or (c) your infringement of third-party rights.
13. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms, for non-payment, or where required by law. Upon termination we may delete your servers and stored content after a reasonable period. Sections that by their nature should survive (3, 8, 10–12, 14–15) survive termination.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION — e.g., Sri Lanka], excluding conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of [VENUE], except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any competent court. Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at legal@mcpsnap.com and attempt informal resolution for 30 days.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. For material changes we will give at least 14 days' notice by email or in-app message. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
