Refund Policy

MCPsnap subscriptions are sold through our payment partner acting as Merchant of Record (currently Lemon Squeezy; we may also use Paddle). The Merchant of Record is the seller of record and processes all payments and refunds. This policy explains when we will approve a refund. It supplements — and does not override — the Merchant of Record's own terms and any rights you have under applicable consumer law.
1. Try before you pay
MCPsnap has a Free plan with no time limit. You can create a server, test it in the playground, and connect an AI agent before paying anything. We encourage you to validate that the Service fits your needs on the Free plan first — this is the primary way to avoid an unwanted purchase.
2. 14-day refund window (first purchase)
If the Service does not work as described, we will refund your first subscription payment on a plan if you request it within 14 days of that first charge. To request, email billing@mcpsnap.com from your account email with a short description of the problem. Refunds under this section are issued in full to the original payment method by the Merchant of Record, normally within 5–10 business days.
3. What is not refundable
- Renewal payments — subscriptions renew automatically; cancel before the renewal date to avoid the next charge. We may, at our discretion, refund a renewal charged within the previous [7] days if the account shows no usage in the new period.
- Partial periods — cancelling mid-period stops the next charge; we do not issue pro-rata refunds for the unused remainder of a period.
- Change of mind after substantial use — e.g., extensive crawling, high tool-call volume, or use of API servers during the refund window.
- Accounts terminated for violating our Terms (e.g., abuse, unlawful content, connecting properties you don't own).
- Third-party costs — charges from your own API providers, hosting, or other vendors triggered by use of your MCP server.
- Downtime or feature changes covered by our Terms' availability provisions, unless a refund is required by law.
4. EU/UK consumers — cooling-off
If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for digital services. By starting your paid subscription immediately at checkout, you request immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed, and if you withdraw during the 14 days you may be charged a proportionate amount for the service already provided. Our 14-day refund window in Section 2 is at least as generous in practice. Nothing in this policy limits your non-waivable statutory rights.
5. Cancelling your subscription
- Cancel anytime from Dashboard → Billing → Manage subscription (the Merchant of Record's customer portal) — no email needed, no questions asked.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep paid features until then.
- After downgrade, servers above the Free plan's limits are deactivated, not deleted — you can reactivate them by upgrading again.
6. Chargebacks
Please contact us before opening a chargeback or payment dispute — most billing issues are resolved within one business day. Chargebacks filed without first contacting us, where the charge was valid under this policy, may result in suspension of the associated account pending resolution. We reserve the right to contest chargebacks with evidence of account usage and to refuse future service to accounts with abusive chargeback history.
7. Disputes and escalation
- Email billing@mcpsnap.com — we respond within [2] business days.
- If unresolved, the dispute-resolution process in our Terms of Service applies (30-day informal resolution, then the courts of [VENUE]).
- You may also contact the Merchant of Record directly (Lemon Squeezy/Paddle buyer support), who can independently review refund requests under their own buyer policies.
8. Billing errors
Duplicate charges, charges after a confirmed cancellation, or amounts different from your plan price are always refunded in full once verified — no time limit beyond what payment networks allow.
9. Changes
We may update this policy; the version in effect at the time of your charge applies to that charge. Material changes will be announced at least 14 days in advance.
